She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlotte Brooks and George Brooks; and her siblings, Watson Brooks, Perri Brooks and Billie Joe Phillips.
She is survived by: her sons, Reggie Brooks of Kansas City, MO, Brett Brooks of St. Joseph, MO, Kyle Carter of St. Joseph, MO, Billy Carter of St. Joseph, MO and Tyler Carter (Kayla) of St. Joseph, MO; and her siblings, Buddy Brooks and Margaret Galbraith. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
