He is survived by: his close friend Henreitta Crisp; his children, Kevin Collins (Karen) of Olathe, KS, James Collins, Kim Groce (Robert) of St Joseph, MO, Jennie Russell (Chad) and Skip Crisp (Amy); and his siblings, John Collins (Phyllis), Jerry Collins (Lela), Mary Hicks, Pat Baker and Joyce McMichael (Dean). He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Rupp Funeral Home (6054 Pryor Ave, St Joseph, MO 64504). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (5005 Frederick Ave, St Joseph, MO 64506).
