Janette L. Wilson Obituary
Janette Wilson was born on May 14, 1968. She passed away on November 28, 2024 at Mosaic Hospital in Saint Joseph, Missouri.
She is survived by her lifetime partner of 47 years, Clyde Williams; children, Angel Allen and Jason Allen, Malcolm Wilson, Anthony Wilson; siblings, Virginia Weston, Diane Wilson, Trina Wilson, Beverly Wilson, Edward Wilson, Robert Dennis, Serena Wilson and Dawn Mitchell; grandchildren, Travis Runyan Jr., Hannah Lee, Ja'Sha Allen, Aniya Allen, Jaz'Lynn Allen, and Ja'Kari Allen, great grandchildren, Nevaeh Lee and Tyreek Lee.
Preceded In death by her son Rory Downs, her grandkid Xavion Malik Scott Allen, and many loved ones.
Janette was well known for not listening and doing whatever she wanted. She called it being grown and that everyone needed to stay out of her business. My grandmother was very frightened of storms and being alone. She always wanted someone on the phone or to come out to see her. As her grandkids we jumped and came to stay with her, even though her house was always 80+ degrees. She did not turn off the heat for nobody. Janette gave us food and shelter when nobody else did. She always gave a help hand when she could. Janette loved her music, Pepsi, ice, and she called her sisters every morning.
Thanksgiving was her favorite holiday. She could two-step to her favorite song till dawn. She will be loved and missed by all. God gained a beautiful soul and now she is watching over us from above.
Farewell Services and Public Livestream 1:00 P.M. Friday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. The family will gather with friends one hour prior to the service.
