It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Edward Platz of Saint Joseph, Missouri, who passed away on December 10, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Platz and Ethel Platz. He is survived by: his wife Patty; his children, Thomas Edward Platz, John Charles Platz (Renee), Suzanne Grissom (Butch), Patricia Mae Crotwell (Steve) and JoAnn Louise Cavanah (Deriek); and his stepdaughters, Teresa Cross (Mike), Terri Jennings (Ray) and Renee Mortimor. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and even some great-great grandchildren.
