He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Brown and Marie Brown (Grimes). He is survived by: his wife Jill "Penny" Grimes; his children, Brian Brown (Jennifer) of St. Joseph, Shelli Mason of Overland Park and Shona Kirkwood (Craig) of Turney; his grandchildren, Paige Mason, Morgan Mason, Jordan Mason, Tyler Brown, Bryson Brown, Kodi Kirkwood, Kasi Kirkwood, Kayli Kirkwood, Kadin Kirkwood and Taylor Schneider; and his sister Joyce Marie Frondle of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He is also survived by three nieces and one nephew; and several cousins.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the charity of the donor's choice.
