He was predeceased by: his parents, Cora Burkeybile (Weiser) and Gilbert Burkeybile; his siblings, Robert Burkeybile, Jr., Barbara Green and Sonny Maddox; and his granddaughter Rachel.
He is survived by: his wife Pamela "Penny" Burkeybile; his children, Lisa Schmidt (Jeff) of Crystal Lake, IL, Herbie Whidden (Isabell) of Buffalo Grove, IL and Tommie Whidden of Texas; his sister-in-law Barbara Barns (Larry) of Tennessee; his grandchildren, Tyler, Travis, Corina, Hannah, Jenny and Sarah; and his niece Mandy Burkeybile of St. Joseph. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren and numerous other nieces and nephews.
