He is survived by: his close friend Julie Smith; his children, Treasa Waitkoss of St. Joseph, MO, Gary Smith of St. Joseph, MO, Leasa Norton (Mike Shaw) of St. Joseph, MO, Evan Smith of St. Joseph, MO, Kaylee Conroy (Tanner) of St. Joseph, MO and Angie Dawson of St. Joseph, MO; and his siblings, Danny Smith, Karen Phelps, Tina Thompson, Vicki Smith, Patty Piner, Laura Rollett, Treasa Parker, Julie Leffler, Nancy Guthrie and Lois Griffin. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.
