He is survived by: his wife Kim Pettis; his children, Jonathan Pettis, Erin Barnett (Kevin) of St. Joseph, MO and April Pettis of St. Joseph, MO; his grandchildren, Kevin, Angel, Jason and Jackson; his mother-in-law Penney Kerns; and his siblings, Doug Pettis (Janice), Terry Pettis and Sheryl Herrod. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rupp Funeral Home (6054 Pryor Ave, St Joseph, MO 64504). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
