He was predeceased by: his parents, Margie Wallace (Cooksey) and Ottaway Wallace; his son Walter Wallace; and his sister Jewelene Mayes. He is survived by: his wife Susan Wallace; his sister Betty Ramirez (Butch) of San Diego, California; his children, Karla Kemp, Michelle Rushing (Victor) of Phoenix, Arizona, Danette Elkins of Lawrence, Kansas, Evan Wallace of Phoenix, Arizona, Troy Sorrells of Glendale, Arizona, Adrian Wallace, Christopher Wallace of Topeka, Kansas and Tyrone Cox of Los Angeles, California; and his stepchildren, Amy Miller (Ryan) of St. Joseph, Missouri and John Dick (Jenny) of Jefferson City, Missouri. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel (3609 Frederick Ave, St Joseph, MO 64506).
