He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgie Jonas and James Jonas; his siblings, Roger Reital, Jr., Robert Reital, Don Jonas, Carl Jonas, Bernice M. Schubert, Rosezella Standish and Sharon Allday; and his pet Cinnamon.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Jonas; his children, Everett Verl Jonas Jr. (Cindy) of St. Joseph, MO, Misty Jonas (Joey) of St. Joseph, MO, Crissy Wolfenbarger (John) of St. Joseph, MO, Ira Jonas (Ashley) of St. Joseph, MO and Patrick Jonas (Liz) of St. Joseph, MO; his grandchildren, Marissa, MaLeah, MaKayla, Jayden, Jordyn, Dawson, Halen, Taylor, Jaxson, Sophia, Kyle, Kati, Mazie, Jacob, Joey, Heather, Brittany, Kodie and Chastity; his sister Lucille Weiberg; and his pets, Maggie and Petey. He is also survived by 22 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rupp Funeral Home (6054 Pryor Ave, St Joseph, MO 64504). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Blakely Cemetery (8977 Pickett Rd SE, Easton, MO 64443).
