We bid farewell to Evelyn Ann (Tiller) Barnes of Saint Joseph, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 21, 2024 at the age of 88. Evelyn Ann touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Tiller (Mildred) and Betty Watkins; and her siblings, Bonnie Tipton, Earl Tiller, Jean Tiller and Sharon Hopper.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Rogers (Calvin), Jody Golden (Charles), Linda Bish and Beth Bish (Anthony); her grandchildren, Heather Meadows (Eric), Holly Smith (Darby), Bradley Lawrence (Jammie), Jennifer Sayers (Matt), Jeff Davis (Kerry), Brandon Dawson, Shaun Dawson (Mindy), Ayala Drennen (Tyler), Chris Anderson, Ryan Anderson, Daniel Bennett (Keri), Adriane Bish, Emily Glise (Josiah) and Olivia Sands; and her siblings, Joyce Ewing, Gary Tiller, Marie Nell and Sue Hopper. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory (5005 Frederick Ave Suite A, St Joseph, MO 64506). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the River of Hope Fellowship Church, Forest City, Missouri or donor's choice.
