It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris June Taysen (Saint Joseph, Missouri), who passed away on January 26, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eden Callen and Vernelle Lewis (Donaldson). She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jason Andrews, Mandi Warren (Kyle), Shawn Andrews, James Taysen, River Jones and Amy Kalinich; and her great grandchildren, Emmitt, Caleb, Olivia, Mercedes, Greyson, Elliott and Colby.
In her early years, Doris's education took place in the one-room Callen School, a meaningful institution as her own grandfather had donated the land for it.
