With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dawn Elizabeth Dotson of Saint Joseph, Missouri, who passed away on January 16, 2024 at the age of 58. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ora Patterson and Carolyn Patterson (Horr); her husband Alan Leon Dotson; her son Jay Dotson; her grandsons, Barney "Gage" Dotson and Clayton Ziolkowski; and her brother Jim Burns.
She is survived by: her children, Ali Jo Ziolkowski (RC), Steve Dotson (Lynn) and Brook Lanham (Jim); her grandchildren, Stevie Dotson, Spencer Johnson, Noah Smith (Farley), Katie Dotson, Haley, Aiden Dreier, Jaycee, Philo Ziolkowski and Payton Burchett; her great grandchildren, Daytona, Rozaleigh Dotson and Salem Smith; her sister Sylvia Jeffers; her boyfriend Tommy Langley; her close friend Judy Cottrill; and her grandchildren, Zamayiah Hale, Skylar Langley, Quincy Nichols, Xavier Nichols, Benjamin Williamson, Tiffany, Raya Holmes of Taya Barnett, P. J, Lincoln, Jessee Roberton, Jacob, Cheyenne and Jaggar Yates.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
