He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Groenke and Inez Groenke (Hamm); his brother Dwayne "Dink" Groenke; and his nephew Dave "Middle Dave" Groenke. He is survived by: his wife Helen Grant; his children, Debbie Groenke and David Lee Groenke, Jr.; his grandchildren, Heather Elliott (Brett) and Indi Groenke; his sister Sharlene Stout; and his pet Dolly. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the St. Joseph Animal Shelter.
