It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Daniel Kerns Sr. of Saint Joseph, Missouri, who passed away on November 13, 2023, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Gibson and Frankie Gibson; his brother Lyle Ray Gibson; and his grandparents, Billy and Margaret Kerns.
He is survived by: his siblings, Frankie "LeRoy" Gibson of Agency, MO and Kristine Galvan of Savannah, MO; his children, Tiffany Steeby (Dennis) of St. Joseph and Daniel "DJ" Joseph Kerns, Jr. (Christina) of Riverside, MO; and his grandchildren, Joey, Korin, Andrew, Emily, Olivia, McKenlee and Caydence. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Memorials are requested to the Joe Kerns Memorial Fund in care of the Rupp Funeral Home.
