He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Smith and Bert Smith; his brother Jerry Don; his nephew Sean Spray; his sister Sandy Guy Hedrick; and his nephew Brent Sexton.
He is survived by: his brothers, Thomas Smith (Las Vegas) of St. Joseph and Howard Smith of St. Joseph; his daughter Miquela Cluff (Brandon); and his siblings, Charles and Elaine Spray (Tom). He is also survived by 5 grandkids.
