He is survived by: his mother Carmen Marie Mejia of St. Joseph, MO; his daughter Carmilla Pedraza (Everardo) of Eldon, MO; his grandchildren, Esmeralda, Antonio and Roman Pedraza; his siblings, Estelita Mejia of St. Joseph, Anthony "Tony" Mejia (Karen) of St. Joseph, Liza Merritt (Travis) of St. Joseph and Lydia Johnson of Columbia, MO; and his nieces and nephews, Danielle Brillhart, Nick, Tyler Mejia, Madelynn, Gabriel Merritt, Harold and Natalia Johnson.
A rosary was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the Rupp Funeral Home (6054 Pryor Ave, St Joseph, MO 64504). Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Mount Olivet Cemetery (2600 Lovers Ln, St Joseph, MO 64506).
