Chester LaVern Burks Obituary
In loving memory of Chester LaVern Burks of Saint Joseph, Missouri, who departed this world on February 15, 2025 at the age of 77. He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Ross "Chet" and Imogene Ann Burks (Steinman). He is survived by: his wife Marilynn Miller; his children, Tim Burks (Jen) and Pamela Osborn (Barry); his grandchildren, Zachary, Alexa, Courtney and Cody; and his brothers, Kenneth, Max and Raymond Burks. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heaton-Bowman-Smith Savannah Chapel (307 S 6th St, Savannah, MO 64485). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
