He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Henry Pryor and Minnie Pryor (Cobb); his wife Mary Ann Pryor (Cole); and his siblings, Bob, Virgil, Bill, Vernita Wilson and Delores Pasley.

He is survived by: his siblings, Ron Pryor and Donna Eads; and his children, Laura Allen, Charles Wayne and Roger. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
