He was predeceased by: his parents, George Kephart and Ida Kephart (Gnuschke); his wife Ava Maxine Anderson; his daughters, Marcia Mae and Alicia Grace; his brother John Kephart; and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Kephart and John "Bill" Creamer.
He is survived by: his children, David Kephart, Laura Mather (Jeff) and Heather Sykes (Martin); his grandchildren, Clay Mather (Breanna), Caleb Mather (Baylee), Isaac Sykes and Allison Sykes; and his sister-in-law Iona Creamer. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family members and friends.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Frederick Boulevard Baptist Church.
