She was predeceased by: her parents, Frieda Blum Briggs and William Briggs; her husband Donald James Unger; and her sisters, Elizabeth Espeland and Geraldine Ann Briggs.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Drake of Kansas City, Luke (Chloe) of Kansas City and Justin (Carissa); her great grandchildren, Jacob and Henry of Washington, D. C.; her grandson Scott (Jenny); and her great grandchildren, Lochlan, Cormick, Connlan of Overland Park, Kansas, Kelly Houghteling (Sam) and Sophie of Fort Collins, Colorado.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
