Arlene left this world on February 27, 2025 at the age of 73, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jannie Lou (Russ) and Dick H. Elliott (Margie); and her pets, Malia, Taco and Baer.
She is survived by: her husband John Castanada; her daughters, Elena, Jannie (Bree) and Alicia Castanada; her stepdaughter Shellee Castanada; her granddaughter Daisy Castanada; her sister Elaine Wilson (Dan); her niece Ruschell; and her pets, Gracie, Pake, Winnie, Lily and Lupe.
A reception will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rupp Funeral Home (6054 Pryor Ave, St Joseph, MO 64504).
Memorials are requested to the Friends of the Animal Shelter or the Mosaic Cancer Oncology Center.
