Althea Schellhorn Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Althea Schellhorn of Saint Joseph, Missouri, born in Fremont, Nebraska, who passed away on January 6, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hazel Combs and Hobert Combs; her husband Edward Schellhorn; her son Chris Goodwin; her stepchildren, John Schellhorn and Tammy Rich; and her siblings, Ardath Yates and Warren "Butch" Combs.
She is survived by: her children, Roger McLain (Susie) of Indian Lake, Cathy England (Steve) of St. Joseph, Kevin Goodwin of St. Joseph, Calvin Goodwin of St. Joseph and Connie Pullins of St. Joseph; her sister Marilyn Thompson of Grant City, Missouri; and her stepchildren, Dennis Schellhorn (Kathy), Jerry Schellhorn (Julie), Sam Schellhorn and Kim Fowler (Keith). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews.
