It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Dale Ellis Sr. (Saint James, Missouri), born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on February 4, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hershel Sewell and Sarah Sewell (Eakins); his former wife Barb Faulkner; his son Roger Dale Ellis, Jr.; his brothers, Billy Cluck, Jerry and Louis Wayne Ellis; his half-brother Clifford Sewell, Jr.; and his stepsister Shirley Stewart.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa Ann Decker of St. Roberts; his children, Jeremy Ellis (Amanda) of St. James, MO and Crystal Gresham (Benie) of St. James, MO; his stepdaughter Ashley Laverty (Chris Crow); his adoptive son William Ellis of St. Roberts; his grandchildren, Tiffany, Christina, Haley and Justus; his great grandchild Oliver Roark; his stepgrandchildren, Jonas Gresham, Hannah and Jayden Laverty; and his sister Doris Brown (James) of Rolla, MO. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and many friends.
