She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Sr. Parsons and Gladys Parsons (Hicks); her husband Virgil Gargus Sr.; her son Terry "Putt" Dwayne Gargus; her daughter-in-law Teresa Gargus; and her siblings, Janet Loughridge, Ron Parsons, Cecil Jr. Parsons and Kenneth Parsons.
She is survived by: her children, Virgil Victor Gargus Jr. (Hazel) of St. James, MO, Larry Gargus (Carolyn) of St. James, MO, Phyllis Malone (Marlin) of St. James, MO, Mike Gargus (Renee) of Jefferson City, MO, Mark Gargus of St. James, MO and Jan Gargus of Rolla, MO; and her siblings, Stanley Parsons (Vonda) of Edgar Springs, MO, Dorothy Loughridge of St. James, MO, Kay Tilford (Gary) of Salem, MO and Toni Earls of Salem, MO. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren.
