He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Perry Frey and Beulah Crumb Frey; and his siblings, Melvin Frey and Jean Dahlgren. He is survived by: his wife Helen E Jenkins; his friend Cora Ann Parsons; his children, Douglas O'Dell Frey of Rolla, Phillip Frey of St James, Missouri, Patricia Holt (Don Holt Jr.) of Saint James and Paulette Craft (Tim) of Rolla, Missouri.; his brother Clifton Frey (Diane) of Saint James; his grandchildren, Sara Frey Bayless (Gabriel), Jara Johnson, Olivia Craft Cohen (Josh), Tyler Craft (Lauren), Marlaina Wallace (Jeff) and Trey Holt; his siblings, Ephraim and Miss Gwendolyn Bayless; and his great grandchild Miss Addie Holt.

He laid up for himself a good foundation against the time to come that he may lay hold on eternal life.
