He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Minnie Fanger Sieber (Ivan Sieber); his daughters, Amanda Brooks of Blue Springs and Jennifer Busbey (Brad) of Rolla; his siblings, John Gibson (Carolyn) of St. James, Marty Gibson (Angie) of St. James, Howard Gibson (Joy) of Katy, Texas, Jay Gibson of St. James and Bonnie Francis of Myrtle; his grandchildren, Madalynn Fennell and Braeden Bowman; and his father Junior Ernest Gibson. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
