She was predeceased by: her parents, R. E. George and Opal George (Turner); her siblings, Rickey George and Jeanné Redfern; and her niece Dierdre Copeland.
She is survived by: her husband Merrett Litherland; her daughters, Cynthia Tipton (Tom) and Mary Hall (Wynn); her grandchildren, Catrina Wheeler, Weston Hall (Ámbar Meléndez), Sophie Tipton, Keagan Hall and Noland Tipton; her sister Connie Skinner; and her sister-in-law Kathy George. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Nancy requested donations be made to St. James United Methodist Church - Sound System Fund (149 W. Church Street, 65559), Compassion International, the American Heart Association, or the American Diabetes Association.
