He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Frey; his sons, Matthew Allen Keeney of Cuba, Fredrick Gale Keeney and Donald Jay Keeney (Melissa) of St. James; his sisters, Alberta Bullock of Springfield and Lola Reed of St. James; his grandchildren, Matthew Allen Keeney Jr., Ashey Ballard, Christopher James Keeney (Stefanie), Courtney Nichole Donze (Steven), Carter Jay Keeney, Hannah Elizabeth Keeney and Hunter Browning; and his great grandchildren, Wyatt Keeney, Jameson Keeney, Royken Keeney, Gracie Keeney, Kamryn Donze and Kayden Donze.

Memorials may be given to Phelps Health Hospice or First Assembly of God in St. James.
