It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joyce Jean Johnston of Saint James, Missouri, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on June 18, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Kaufmann and Marie Kaufmann (Schaub); her husband Jack Johnston; her brother Donald Kaufmann; and her siblings-in-law, Donna Kaufmann and Ed Yonkus.
She is survived by: her children, Chris Johnston (Jeri) of Hillsboro, MO, Kelly Cooper of Denton, TX and Paul Johnston (Kelly) of St. James, MO; her sister Joan Marie Yonkus of Scottsdale, AZ; her grandchildren, Amy Johnston, Rebecca Johnston, Nicholas Johnston, Sarah Else (Justin), Hunter Bowers (Lewis) and Joe West (Kayla); and her great grandchildren, Kaylee Kraczek, Calleigh Johnston, Cooper Else, Paxton Else, Jace Johnston, Caiden Canania and Aleah West. She is also survived by extended family and friends.
