He is survived by: his wife Hazel Lorrain Ness of St. James, Missouri; his children, John Wilson Shoemate (Cheryl Gwen) of Republic, Randall Kieth Shoemate (Angela Diane) of St. Clair, Missouri and Lisa Kaye McCarthy (Keith Joseph) of St. James, Missouri; his grandchildren, Michelle Long, Marty Ramsey, Patrick McCarthy, Daniel McCarthy, Cassidy Fedderson and Gavin Shoemate; and his great grandchildren, Annabell Gerhardt-Hobbs, Mylee Ramsey, Briar Hobbs, Blaine Long and Hunter Long.
