He was predeceased by: his parents, Estes Boyd and Mary Boyd (Hilburn); and his brother Jim Boyd (Charlene). He is survived by: his wife Donna; his daughter Elizabeth "Libby" Gardner (Jerod) of Midwest City, Oklahoma; his granddaughter Alice Gardner; and his sisters, Jane Saunders (John) of Washburn and Joyce Swinney (Mark) of Ava, Missouri. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the James & Gahr Mortuary - Rolla (1651 MO-72, Rolla, MO 65401). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial gifts are encouraged in lieu of flowers to a trust fund that the family has set up for his granddaughter, and any future grandchildren.
