He was predeceased by: his parent Lawrence Joiner; his brother Jeffery Joiner; his daughter-in-law Julie Koch; and also Shirley Joiner. He is survived by: his spouse Mary Joiner of St. James; his daughter Katherine Carter of Hopkinsville; his stepsons, Steve Koch of Cuba and David (Carla Koch) of Columbia; his grandchildren, Hannah and Aurbee; his stepgrandchildren, Devin (Chazz Palgren) of St. Louis and David (Stephanie Woodruff) of Durango; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Mason Woodruff and Finnley Woodruff; his brother Kim Joiner of Paducah; and his sister-in-law Doris (Kelly O'Conner) of St. James.
Special recorded music will be 'Oh Happy Day" and "My Lighthouse". In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any program that helps individuals or families that are dealing with cancer.
