He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Preston Asher and Girtie Luvinia Stricklin Asher; his parents-in-law, Wayne Ness and Mary Ness; his siblings, Herman Asher, Montie Asher, Mabel Asher and Vernie Asher; and his siblings-in-law, Brenda Asher, Linda Asher, Stanley Ness and Gary Ness.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Wayne Ness; his children, Kenneth Wayne Asher, Nina Eickhorst (Doug Davis) and Ginger Thompson (Michael); his grandchildren, Jackie (Jeremy) and Ethan (Alisha); his great grandchild Haddy Jo; his brothers, Emmett Asher and Vernon Asher; his sister-in-law Mary Lou; and his sisters, Goldie Keister and Helen Walz. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
