She is survived by: her child Carl Shoemate; her sister Esther Havy (Al) of Spring; her grandchild Michael Shoemate; her friend Renae Shoemate; her husband James Shoemate; her daughter Linda Carlene Shoemate; her siblings, Carl Kennedy Cooley, Andrew Jackson Cooley, Thomas Maxwell Cooley, Benjamin Franklin Cooley and Hope Leah Cooley; and also Samantha Shoemate.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Asher Cemetery.
