He is survived by: his siblings, Tony Shimon (Mary) of Iowa City, Richard Shimon (Roxy) of Hamilton, Ohio, Cheryl Shimon (Deb) of Columbus Junction, Jackie McWhorter (Mike) of St. James, Linda Smith of New Haven and Tammi Anderson (Mick) of Paris, Texas; and his friend Will. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
