Shultz (Saint James, Missouri), born in Springfield, Missouri, who passed away on January 6, 2020, at the age of 44, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Martin Lee Eddlemon, Dwight Shultz and Mara Lahe Shultz. He is survived by: his child Quinn Martin; his wife Katie Shultz; his son Brett Shultz of St. James, MO; his parents, Bill Trotter of Cabool, MO and Deborah Shultz of Talequah, OK; his siblings, Penelope Dunckel of Monterey, CA, Jeffrey Shultz II, Matthew Bryce Trotter and Zachary Ray Trotter of Springfield, MO; and his grandmother Martha Jane Eddlemon of Springfield, MO. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested contributions to the Derek Shultz Scholarship fund for his children, Quinn and Brett.
