David Andrew Bennett Obituary
The memory of David Andrew Bennett of Saint James, Missouri, who passed away on April 11, 2025 at the age of 85, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, David Leonard (D. L.) and Ruby Nell Bennett (McGaffin); his sisters, Helen Branson and Arline Bennett; his friend Norma Wehmeyer; his great-nieces, Megan Branson, June Branson and Kaitlyn Artrip; and his great-nephew Jason Hadley.
He is survived by: his sister Ruth Bullock of St. James, Missouri; his nieces and nephews, Gene Branson (Helen), Leonard Branson (Michele), Melvin Branson, Jr. (Beth), Larry Bullock, Steve Bullock, Rita Richardson (Larry), Marilyn Prudhomme (Eddie), Tammy Wilson (John), Lori Klaver and Terri Woodley; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Brooke Cook, Deborah Kleinheider, Rebecca Clark, Laura Richardson, Amber Abernathy (Chad), Aimee Giesing (Christopher), Ashley Wilson, Jessie Luther, Lindsey Patton, Tim Branson (Amy), Evan Branson, Matthew Prudhomme (Aimee) and Andrew Branson; and also, Madison Kleinheider, Abby Clark, Olivia Abernathy, Brittni Brosh, Colby Kleinheider, Jacob Clark, Micah Abernathy and Owen Abernathy.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 10:00 PM to 12:00 AM at the Jones Funeral Home (200 N Meramec St, St James, MO 65559). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at the St James Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the Missouri Veterans Assistance League or Patriot Guard.
