He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl II and LaVerne Strumpf Berkelman II. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Koltz Berkelman of Cook Station; his sons, Carl William Berkelman IV of Cook Station, MO and Robert Jeffrey Berkelman (Wendy) of St. James, MO; his siblings, Bill Smith (Bonnie) of Bolingbrook, IL, Barb and Cheryl; and his granddaughters, Samantha, Rachel and Amy.
