She was predeceased by: her parents, J. V. Hobbs and Vera Edalman Hobbs; her grandparents, Frank Hobbs and C. C. Edalman; and her brother-in-law Mitchell Deimund.

She is survived by: her husband Carl Thomason; her daughters, Jo Anne Bell of Haines City and Jamie Danielle Robertson of Kansas City, Missouri.; her granddaughters, Tabatha Marie Bell and Meadow Alexa Robertson; her sister Nancy Jo Deimund; her nephew Mitchell Deimund, Jr.; and her niece Michelle Deimund.
