He was predeceased by: his parents, Hale York and Verda York; his sons, Richard York and Frank "Barry" York; and his siblings, Charlie, George, Lou York and Zulene Payne.
He is survived by: his wife Frieda York; his children, Terry York Rudd, Larry York (Ronda), Kelly Johnson and Linda Stokes Baker (Randy); and his sisters-in-law, Sharon York and Margaret Boyer. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great and great-great-nieces, cousins and friends.
