He is survived by: his children, Scott Elder (Allison Power-Elder) of Lucas, TX, Bryan Elder of St. Louis, MO, Jacquelyn Elder of Austin, TX, Gwendolyn Elder (Sunghyun Kim) of Buffalo Grove, IL and Carolyn Elder (Kevin Brown) of Ashland, OR; and his siblings, Richard Elder (Judy) of St. Clair, MO, Marilyn Stanley (Ralph) of Oakville, MO, Geraldine Brennan (Terry) of Winchester, MO, Elaine Smith of Lake St and Barbara McCown (Willie) of St. Louis, MO. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great and great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.
