He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo John Grus and Amelia Barbara Grus; his wife Barbara Grus; and his siblings, Leewald Grus and Naomi Grus.
He is survived by: his children, Ronald Grus (Marcia Sterling) of St. Clair, MO, Nancy Baylard (David) of New Haven, MO, Debra Hoffman (Mark) of St. Clair, MO, Mary Bursey (Michael) of St. Clair, MO and Ricky Grus (Trish) of St. Clair, MO; his grandchildren, Laura DeClue (Willie), Lindsay Monk (Erich), Alex Baylard (Bryce), Justin Baylard (Alexis), Michael Baylard, Alicia Baylard, Cassandra Hoffarth (Blake), Zachary Hoffman (Katie), Karissa Gordon (Matt), Bradley Hoffman (Kayla), Timothy Hoffman (Gracie), Jason Grus and Lynnae Grus (Josh); and his great grandchildren, Addy, Kallie, Everlee, Leo, Colter, Lilah, Everett and Callah. He is also survived by brother- and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.
