He was predeceased by: his mother Laura Berkbigler; his brother Larry Berkbigler; his children-in-law, Patricia DeWitt and William Courtway; and his grandchildren, Jami Reilly and Melissa McClerren.
He is survived by: his wife Beulah Berkbigler; his father Harold Berkbigler; and his children, Gilbert DeWitt (Karen Lambert), Greg DeWitt (Jeanne) of Sturgeon, Peggy Stivers of Sullivan, Tammy Kelleher (Anthony) of Sullivan, Connie Berg (Kelly DeClue) and Glenna Courtway of Bourbon. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
Memorial donations to the family are preferred.
