He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon William and Margaret Lenora Rowland Capps; his siblings, Michael Capps, Jimmy Capps and Carolyn Wray; and his brother-in-law Glen Wray.
He is survived by: his daughters, Allison Sohn (Josh) of St. Clair, MO and Sara Capps of Henderson; his stepdaughters, Stacy Ivy of Henderson and Kathy Haynie of Toone; his grandchildren, Joshua Sohn, Gracie Sohn and Robert Foust; and his sister Cindy Leach (Thomas) of Pinson. He is also survived by five step grandchildren and nine step great grandchildren.
