It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Leroy Bruns of Saint Clair, Missouri, born in Robertsville, Missouri, who passed away on January 11, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Edward Bruns and Selma Marie Bruns; and his siblings, Lester Bruns, Karl Ivan Bruns and Mary Laverne Fink.

He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Bruns of St. Clair, MO; his children, Diane McHenry (Chuck) of Ironton, MO and Denny Bruns (Michelle Schaefer) of Sullivan, MO; his grandchildren, Valerie Searcy, Vincent Duncil (Samantha) and Erica Buddemeyer (Matt); and his great grandchildren, Sofia, Quinton Searcy, Michael, Madison Duncil and Ava Buddemeyer. He is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great and great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.
