With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Evelyn (Simon) Magruder (Saint Clair, Missouri), born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on April 11, 2024 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roland Henry Simon and Elizabeth Bernice Simon; her children, Russell G. Magruder, Jr. (Tammy) of St. Clair and Joyce C. Strothcamp (Matthew) of St. Clair; her husband Russell G. Magruder; and her brothers, Ronald Simon and David Simon.
She is survived by: her siblings, Dolores Morris (Chris) of Warrenton, MO and Melvin Simon (Mary) of O' Fallon, MO. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Memorials are appreciated and may be made in her name to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Franklin County Humane Society, Halo for Animals, or any animal rescue organization.
