It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Troy E. McVey Jr. (Saint Charles, Missouri), who passed away on November 10, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy, Sr. McVey and Evelyn McVey; and his sibling Juel. He is survived by: his wife Alice McVey; his children, Melody Reever (Nathan), Crystal Thacker (Steve), Rodney McVey (Sherri), Darren McVey (Denise) and Dwight McVey (Heather); his grandchildren, Angela West (Andrew), Ashley Chancellor (Daylen), Devin Thacker (Tarah), Dustin Thacker (Jena), Tyler McVey (Emily), Emily Banks (Jordan), Bailey McVey, Brayden McVey, Dylan McVey and Logan McVey; his great grandchildren, Liam West, Ava Kate West, Jayden Chancellor, Bryson Chancellor, Wyatt Chancellor, Indie Thacker, Lilah Thacker, Roman Thacker, Hadley Thacker, Knox Thacker, Caroline Banks and Grayson McVey; and his brother Albert McVey (Pat).
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hutchens-Stygar Funeral & Cremation Center (5987 Mid Rivers Mall Dr, St Charles, MO 63304). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pathways Hospice & Palliative Care.
