He was predeceased by: his parents, Cletus Barklage and Dorothy Barklage. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Barklage; his children, Mitchell Barklage (Maggie Osburn), Elizabeth Szuba (Chad) and Thomas John Barklage II (Reagan); his siblings, Nancy Barklage (Tess) and Daniel Barklage (Elaine); and his grandchildren, Harris, Lennox, Sidney, Tatum, Bennett, Truett and Gianna.
He volunteered/donated to numerous causes to better the environment and community.
