He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Haeffner and Marie Haeffner; his in-laws, Clement Feldt, Sr., Mary Louise Feldt Meitz and Joseph Meitz; his siblings, Charles Haeffner and Patricia Ann Trammel; his nephew Rocky Trammel; his granddaughter Grace Ann Haeffner; and his friends, Everett and Mattie Dowell.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia C. Haeffner (Patty); his children, Tim Haeffner (Trish), Stephanie O'Brien (Tim), Ted Haeffner and Katie Laffleur (Mike); and his sibling Jean Bates (Don).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Terry's name to Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital or Siteman Cancer Center.
